The Rise of Victoria Seras

Chapter 51: 51. Elizabeth Bathory's Bad Choice

Chapter 51

Six hours later, when the clock was already 2 am, we were again in Alucard's room and if Dracula looked as if nothing had happened, then I had managed to get really tired while chasing him in the shadows and was now trying to catch my breath.

- Is that all you can do, policewoman? You've only found me three times, and even then it was an accident. You've never even come close to touching me.

"You're just too fast, Master," I answered, still out of breath.

- It's not that I'm fast, it's that you're not good enough. - Alucard chuckled, flicking me on the forehead.

"You say I'm not good enough, but you've been hiding your presence the whole time. How was I supposed to find you if you're hiding on purpose?" I complained, followed by a slap on the back of the head.

- For what? - I exclaimed, offended.

- For whining. None of my chicks will be whiners. If you don't become better, it's your own fault. - Alucard said.

I certainly had something to say to that statement, but a knock on the door interrupted our conversation. It was a little annoying, but I opened the door anyway and saw Helena there.

- I think we've already made a decision. We haven't been able to find any of you for hours.

- Ah, sorry, I was trained by the Master. I'll be up now.

- Then I'll go. - Having bowed to Alucard, Helena left.

Having closed the door, I looked intently at Alucard.

- What do you want, policewoman?

- If even the ancient vampires couldn't find both of us, then is it fair to say that I'm not good enough?

"They are weaklings, and you are my chick." Alucard simply replied before he began to disappear into the shadows. "Hurry up, policewoman, you promised me a trip to another world."

I arrived in the hall only a moment after Alucard and the first thing that caught my eye was that all three vampires were sitting exactly the same as during our last conversation, without touching the bags of blood.

"What a waste"

"You're really starting to think like a vampire cop. If this were my house, I'd kill them for being so dismissive of the treats I offered."

"But this is your home, Master."

"Yes, I live here. But I'm not the owner."

"Clear"

Sitting down opposite the trio, I asked.

- So, what have you decided?

- I want one with magic. After reading about it in human literature, I found it interesting. - Bathory was the first to speak.

- Very good. - Trying not to make my smile sinister, I took out a notebook and tore out a sheet of paper and made a note. - Next?

"I want to go to a place where there are no supernatural beings, but I want to come back someday. Is that possible?" Carmilla was the next to speak.

- Of course, how long do you want to stay there?

- About a hundred years.

- In a hundred years I will wait for you in the same place where I left you. Okay? - I said, writing on another sheet of paper.

"Yes," the vampire agreed.

- And you, Helena?

- I would like the same world we were in before.

- Okay. - This time the entry was quite long, which made Helena's companions a little worried.

- Ha-ha-ha, these are very interesting worlds, Seras. - Alucard said, laughing slightly.

- Thank you, master. I think they will have a lot of fun. - I answered, smiling happily.

- Well, shall we go in a group or separately?

- As a group. I still think it's all complete nonsense.

- Oh? I see. Then you won't need this manual. - I said, demonstratively tearing the sheet into pieces.

- What kind of leadership?

- Survival Guide.

- What???

- Enough. I'm tired and I want to leave. - Helena said, standing up.

This silenced Bathory, and I extended my hand to them. Alucard stood behind me and simply placed his hand on my shoulder, and Helena and Carmila took my hand. Only Bathory looked like she couldn't find anything to grab onto.

-You can just hold on to one of them. They're already connected to me, so it'll be okay.

- Great, I didn't mean to touch your hand. - The vampire exclaimed, grabbing Helena's hand.

This attitude finally determined the future path for Bathory, which brought a rather evil smile to my face, which was quickly mirrored on Alucard's face.

- Excellent! Hold on tight! - I said with exaggerated joy before transferring us to our destination.

The next moment we found ourselves in the middle of a forest filled with absurdly huge trees. Our fellow travelers looked around in amazement until an explosion sounded about a couple of hundred meters away from us.

"I wouldn't advise going there, ladies," I stood in the way of the girls who were moving towards the sound. "You see, we are in a universe that I call the Seven Deadly Sins.

- So what? - Bathory nudged me with her shoulder and continued walking.

This time I didn't stop her and continued explaining to the girls who listened to me.

- There are many races in this world, besides humans and vampires. There are demons, giants, fairies and goddesses. - I shared with the surprised vampires, although out of the corner of my eye I noticed that Alucard clearly did not like the mention of the latter.

- And now there is a war going on between them, which is quite destructive. - I said it in such a carefree tone that it did not seem like something scary. However, only a few seconds later, we heard Bathory running towards us, screaming in horror.

- What was that?! I wanted to go somewhere with magic, not monsters! - Bathory grabbed my shoulder so hard that I felt the bones start to crack.

"My dear Bathory, don't you know?" I asked with a soft smile, taking the vampire's hand on my shoulder before squeezing it and in one motion putting it into a painful hold so that my face was next to her ear and whispered. "Magic and monsters go hand in hand. The terms of our agreement are upheld, you should have been more careful."

- Since I am kind, I will tell you about the weaknesses of these creatures.

-…- it seemed that what was happening was so shocking for Bathory that she didn't even try to escape.

- Demons have different types of soldiers. Two of them are counted in thousands - these are red and gray demons. The only way to kill them is to destroy all the hearts. Yes, they have more than one. It is difficult to say how many each has, but no more than 7. - while I was saying this, a 10-meter red demon came out from the place where Bathory ran from.

Freeing one of my hands, I took out my pistol and fired 3 shots. The explosive bullets, made specifically for vampires, surprisingly penetrated the monster's tough skin well and it, vomiting a little blood, fell to the ground, causing a slight tremor in the earth.

- This demon had three hearts. Oh, and of course, it's worth mentioning the elite demons, who look like humans, but are much stronger than this evil spirit.

- Haaaah - feeling that my grip had weakened a little, Bathory tried to reach me with a scream, but I easily dodged and sent the countess kissing the ground.

- Well, my brief overview should help you survive. Am I kind, really? Have fun. - Having said this, I grabbed the others and teleported us to our home world.
