Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?

Chapter 123: Chapter 123: This Is Bad

Morning. The sun hadn't fully risen yet. A thin layer of mist, carrying a touch of moisture, spread across the city. A boy with dead-fish eyes, dressed in workout clothes, was jogging around his neighborhood.

Hikigaya Hachiman had gradually gotten used to exercising early in the morning. Even during the holidays, he could overcome the temptation of his warm bed and get up to work out.

Though it was torture at first, after sticking with it, the suffering had become just another part of his daily life. You had to admire the human ability to adapt.

Every day, he ran three kilometers, followed by 100 push-ups and 100 sit-ups. After completing this cut-down version of Saitama-sensei's workout routine, he could collapse and rest.

After a shower and a change of clothes, Hikigaya Hachiman grabbed a manga and sprawled across the couch, reading with a clear conscience.

He'd already put in the effort today, so no matter how much he indulged afterward, he wouldn't feel guilty.

Effort didn't always lead to success, but knowing he had tried brought him peace. Especially in the jujutsu world, where talent mattered so much, this was even more true.

For Hachiman, being able to scrape by as a Grade 3 sorcerer was more than enough.

*Buzz... buzz...*

The phone he had casually tossed onto the table suddenly vibrated.

Hikigaya Hachiman picked it up and saw the caller: Hiratsuka Shizuka.

Seeing it wasn't Yukinoshita, the club president, or Hayashizaki, he instinctively felt relieved. If it had been either of them—or someone from Jujutsu High—he wouldn't have been able to ignore it.

He put the phone back on the table, waiting for the call to end.

Later, he could just send a message saying, *"Sorry, my phone was dead."*

However, the call stubbornly kept ringing, followed by an onslaught of notifications—calls and messages one after another.

After hesitating for a while, Hikigaya Hachiman finally sat up, picked up the phone, and checked the email Hiratsuka Shizuka had sent.

"A training camp for the Service Club?"

He grimaced at the message, which felt like a death sentence, and ultimately chose to turn off his phone.

A peaceful, uneventful day without curses, Hayashizaki, or bizarre incidents—how could such a beautiful day be ruined by a club activity?

.....

"Tch, miscalculated. I didn't think they'd stoop so low as to use my love for my sister to lure me out."

Hikigaya Hachiman let go of the large bags he was carrying and sighed.

The moment he saw Hiratsuka Shizuka leaning against a red van, wearing a burgundy short-sleeved shirt, khaki work pants, and a baseball cap, he realized he'd been tricked.

But the most underhanded one here was definitely his sister.

The dead-fish-eyed boy let out a helpless sigh.

"Finally here, huh?"

Hiratsuka Shizuka stubbed out her cigarette in a portable ashtray.

"It's so hard to get you to come out. Took me quite a bit of effort."

Hikigaya Hachiman looked away.

"So, what do you want? I've got plans to head to Chiba…"

"We're going to Chiba. Didn't you read the email?"

Of course, he'd read it, but admitting that now would surely earn him a punch.

Wait, hold on!

He suddenly realized something important. Hiratsuka-sensei's iron fist probably wasn't a threat to him anymore. If he used cursed energy to reinforce his body, he wouldn't just shrug off one punch—he could tank ten, even a hundred punches without a scratch!

A dangerous urge started to rise within Hikigaya Hachiman.

"Hikki! You're so slow!"

Thankfully, a voice calling out from not far away snapped him out of it just in time.

Looking in the direction of the voice, the frustration he'd been harboring over his ruined day off instantly vanished.

"Hachiman~!"

Totsuka Saika and Yuigahama Yui had just walked out of a nearby department store.

The former waved enthusiastically at him, wearing a radiant smile that could only be described as angelic.

This must be the gods' way of compensating me for my ruined day off. Starting today, I'll believe in divine beings!

"Looks like everyone's here. We're not late, right?"

A familiar voice suddenly reached Hikigaya Hachiman's ears.

How strange. With an angel standing right in front of him, why did he hear the voice of a demon?

He blinked, then slowly and stiffly turned his neck. Sure enough, Hayashizaki's handsome face came into view.

Shifting his gaze slightly, he noticed Yukinoshita Yukino standing beside Hayashizaki. His dazed expression seemed to ask her, *Why is Lord Hayashizaki here?*

"Ah! Hayashizaki-nii is here too!"

Unlike Hikigaya Hachiman's stiff demeanor, his younger sister, Hikigaya Komachi, seemed genuinely happy to see Hayashizaki.

"Yeah, even I need to relax every once in a while," Hayashizaki said with a smile.

"This isn't because of some weird situation, is it?" Komachi whispered teasingly, her small, cute fang peeking out as she grinned.

"No, really, I'm just here to relax this time," he replied, exasperated.

Yuigahama Yui and Totsuka Saika, upon seeing Hayashizaki, both looked surprised and confused. Yuigahama hadn't expected him to join the Service Club's retreat, while Totsuka simply didn't know who he was.

After greeting everyone and introducing Hayashizaki to Totsuka, Yuigahama curiously asked,

"Hayashizaki-san, did Yukinon invite you to join us?"

"Yeah. I hope that's not a problem?" Hayashizaki raised an eyebrow teasingly.

"No, no, no! Of course not!"

Yuigahama quickly waved her hands, as if worried he and Yukinoshita Yukino might misunderstand. Her face broke into a smile.

"Of course you're welcome! Activities like this are more fun with more people!"

"Don't mind him, Yuigahama. He's just teasing you," Yukinoshita Yukino interjected.

Yukinoshita Yukino, unable to watch her friend being teased any longer, stepped forward and spoke up. She also shot a frustrated glance at the black-haired young man beside her, who had a faint smile on his face.

"Is… is that so?"

The bun-haired girl froze for a moment, but after seeing the relaxed smile on Hayashizaki's face, she finally felt relieved.

"Hayashizaki-san is such a funny and interesting person,"

Totsuka Saika said with a gentle smile, his voice as warm and kind as ever. He seemed genuinely happy to have made a new friend.

Meanwhile, Hayashizaki's arrival left Hikigaya Hachiman temporarily ignored.

Although this was a situation he was used to and typically found comforting, for some reason, his body began to feel like it was turning to ash.

No cursed spirits, no Hayashizaki, no unusual events—just an ordinary, peaceful, and beautiful day…
