Warframe Voidwalker : Multiverse Journey

Chapter 84: Chapter 84: Sentinel Annihilation

A multitude of Sentinel robots hung suspended in the air, energy flames burning across their metal bodies.

"This... This is his power!"

Seeing this, Storm immediately understood. She finally realized what Marcus's earlier energy release had accomplished.

The Sentinels provided perfect evidence—all of them imprisoned in midair, completely motionless.

The central network detected this anomaly. All Sentinels near the strange sphere had lost contact, and the number of disconnected units continued to rise.

Faced with this crisis, the central network dedicated all its resources to analyzing the situation.

Meanwhile, Marcus had already begun systematically eliminating the surrounding Sentinels.

The effects of Stasis and Rift Surge spread outward with each robot he destroyed. Waves of Sentinels were banished to the rift plane, immediately imprisoned in cocoons of energy flames.

Void beams from his Denial ability swept through the robots with each gesture, reducing their numbers at a rate visible to the naked eye.

Amid countless explosions, all Sentinels around Marcus disintegrated.

After clearing the machines near him, Marcus turned his attention to the exiled Sentinels surrounding the rift space.

Compared to the scattered units he'd just eliminated, the Sentinels near the rift space were densely clustered—making them perfect targets.

As he descended from above, beams of void light shot from his fingertips, each blast destroying multiple robots.

The moment he landed among the frozen Sentinels, void energy erupted from his entire body. The fragments of Super-Dimensional Purgatory exploded along with the void energy, reducing the clustered robots to ash in a single devastating blow.

This attack obliterated most of the densely-packed Sentinels, while additional void beams fired in all directions eliminated the stragglers.

Within moments, Marcus had destroyed every Sentinel within the rift space.

Outside their protective bubble, only the Sentinel transport ships remained floating in the air, surrounded by scattered robot debris.

"We... we won!"

Seeing the battlefield, everyone erupted in cheers. They had survived the Sentinel onslaught.

They celebrated wildly, looking at Marcus with newfound respect. This man had saved them and destroyed an entire army of killing machines.

Without him, they wouldn't have survived even the first wave of attacks.

However, Marcus's attention remained fixed on the Sentinel transport ships visible through the scattered wreckage. He now had enough energy reactors, but he still wanted the power cores from the transport vessels.

Under everyone's watchful gaze, Marcus vanished instantly, transforming into a streak of light that shot toward the transport ships.

He had become Titania [Illusion Butterfly Fairy], wielding twin DEX Fairy guns as he rushed toward the vessels.

Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat...

Countless bullets peppered the transport ships. Though individual shots caused minimal damage, the DEX Fairy guns didn't fire single bullets—they released dense chains of continuous fire.

After saturating the transports with gunfire, Marcus swung his fairy sword to breach the outer hull, then dove into each vessel's cabin.

Inside, he sliced through the ships' energy cores with precise sword strikes before rushing back outside.

One after another, the transport ships lost power and plummeted from the sky. The central network quickly ordered the remaining vessels to retreat and await reinforcements.

Seeing the transports withdraw, Marcus didn't pursue them. Instead, he dove into the powerless ships that had crashed to the ground.

With the battle temporarily over, he needed to extract the final Aya Stars before deciding which armor to create.

As the remaining ships retreated, everyone breathed sighs of relief. The freed prisoners searched the Sentinel wreckage, collecting undamaged energy reactors.

Storm and the others felt renewed confidence in the Professor's plan.

They had repelled the Sentinel army. As long as Logan completed his mission step by step, they could reverse the future and rewrite history.

Shortly after, Marcus emerged from the downed transport ships, reverting to his human form as he approached the group.

He had extracted the energy from the vessels and now only needed to process the collected reactors to complete his Aya Stars harvest.

"Sir, these are the reactors we gathered."

As he rejoined the group, prisoners carried two large baskets of energy reactors to Marcus.

"Thank you—you've handled yourselves well!"

Void energy flowed from his hands, enveloping all the reactors. Their energy drained at a visible rate as the final Aya Starss condensed in Marcus's palm.

"Finally got them all."

Since arriving in this world, he had collected fourteen new Aya. Added to his original four, he now possessed eighteen.

This unprecedented wealth would allow him to create four different armors, enabling him to handle virtually any situation.

"Now, what should I create?"

Faced with abundance, Marcus found himself struggling to choose which armor to manifest first.

He wanted all of them, of course, but with limited Aya, he needed to carefully consider his options.

According to his plan, he intended to create three different armors focusing on close combat, area-of-effect attacks, and defense.

But each category contained multiple options, each with unique powers, making the decision difficult.

"Perhaps I should start with Excalibur [Holy Sword]?"

This was the first armor he had encountered. A master of guns and swords, Excalibur's Exalted Blade was the design prototype for the energy sword Marcus currently wielded.

If his energy blade already possessed such destructive power, the original Exalted Blade would be even more formidable.

After careful consideration, Marcus decided to manifest Excalibur [Holy Sword]. He still felt a special connection to the first armor he had ever encountered.

Void energy surged through his body as four Aya Starss flowed with it, enveloping his entire form. Before everyone's eyes, he transformed into a human-shaped energy cocoon.

The watchers saw the cocoon grow brighter and brighter, but none noticed their surroundings beginning to waver and distort.

People around him started disappearing one by one, and even Marcus's energy cocoon began to flicker wildly.
