You Choose an Adopted Son, I Choose Madness

Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Su Qiqi, You’re So Vicious!:

Su Qiqi was startled when Su Chen suddenly jumped in front of her. The mocking tilt of her eyes disappeared, and the smirk on her lips vanished as her body instinctively leaned back, trying to distance herself.

But it was too late—Su Chen had already grabbed her shoulders.

Trapped in his grip, Su Qiqi trembled and shouted in anger, her voice laced with panic.

“Su Chen, are you insane?!”

“Let go of me! You piece of trash, let go!”

She raised her hands, trying to push him away, but Su Chen held on tightly, shaking her so violently that she felt nauseous.

Unfortunately for her, Su Qiqi wasn’t strong enough to break free. She had no choice but to sway helplessly along with Su Chen’s movements, completely at his mercy.

Watching her face contort in discomfort, her head whipping back and forth, Su Chen felt a deep sense of satisfaction.

Serves her right!

This woman had framed him in his past life, ruining his reputation and dooming him to a lifetime of shame.

Even if he didn’t have proof yet, he would make sure she suffered for it now.

Ignoring her struggles, Su Chen continued his relentless shaking, his eyes burning with fury as he bellowed:

“Su Qiqi, stop dodging my question and answer me directly!”

“Which eye of yours saw me steal that watch?!”

“When did you see it?!”

“Speak! Say it!”

“You can’t, can you?!”

“If you can’t say it, that means you’re lying!”

“You’re framing me, Su Qiqi!”

“You’re a venomous woman, falsely accusing me of theft!”

Su Qiqi kept struggling, but her resistance was useless. Her fury boiled over as she screamed back at him, her own face twisted in rage.

“It was you! You stole Dad’s watch, Su Chen!”

“I don’t need to see it to know—it was obviously you!”

Su Chen’s anger flared even higher.

So she was outright framing him, without even bothering to hide it?!

Fine! If that’s how she wanted to play, then she would pay for it!

Tightening his grip, he shook her even harder, making her head snap back and forth like a rag doll. Her entire body wobbled uncontrollably, her vision spinning.

“Good! So you admit you never actually saw me steal it!”

“That means you’re lying!”

“You dare to frame me, Su Qiqi?!”

Unable to take it any longer, Su Qiqi panicked and cried out for help.

“Dad! Mom! Save me! Su Chen has lost his mind!”

“Get him away from me, hurry!”

Su Zhenxing, Liu Yanran, Su Lili, and Su Mu had been too stunned to react at first. But now, seeing Su Qiqi’s desperate pleas, they snapped out of their daze and rushed forward.

Grabbing Su Chen’s arms and legs, they forcibly pried him away from Su Qiqi.

Hah…

As expected, they immediately sided with Su Qiqi.

They had all heard her admit that she hadn’t actually seen him steal the watch, yet none of them called her out for lying.

If that was the case, then they had no right to blame him for what happened next.

Even as they held him back, Su Chen continued struggling, reaching out toward Su Qiqi and shouting at the top of his lungs:

“Su Qiqi, you’re framing me!”

“You venomous woman, you’re framing me!”

“Ahhhhhhh!”

His voice was raw with fury. His arms flailed wildly, his legs kicked in every direction, landing blows on Su Zhenxing, Liu Yanran, Su Lili, and Su Mu.

His sudden outburst startled them so much that their grip loosened, and in that instant, Su Chen broke free.

The moment he was free, he lunged at Su Qiqi again.

Her face drained of all color.

Fortunately for her, the earlier scuffle had put some distance between them, giving her just enough time to react. In sheer panic, she bolted behind Su Zhenxing and Liu Yanran, using them as shields while eyeing Su Chen fearfully.

She was terrified—afraid that even their parents wouldn’t be able to stop this crazed version of Su Chen.

Seeing this, the rest of the Su family quickly moved to block Su Chen’s path.

Su Zhenxing’s face turned livid with anger. He pointed at Su Chen and roared:

“Su Chen, look at yourself!”

“You’re acting like a complete lunatic! How shameful!”

“How dare you scare your sister like that?!”

“You unfilial son! Stand still and stop this madness at once!”

Hah…

A biased old man through and through.

Even after hearing Su Qiqi admit that she had no proof, he still chose to scold Su Chen first instead of reprimanding her.

Ignoring him completely, Su Chen continued jumping, snarling, and shouting:

“This is unfair! It’s unfair!”

“Su Qiqi framed me for stealing the watch, and you’re still siding with her?!”

“She didn’t even see me do it! She’s lying!”

“Why aren’t you scolding her? Why are you only blaming me?!”

“Why?!”

Su Zhenxing was livid, his entire body shaking with rage. He opened his mouth, ready to unleash another round of curses… but he suddenly froze.

For a moment, he didn’t know what to say.

Call Su Chen crazy?

But if Su Chen really had been falsely accused, then his reaction was completely justified.

Accuse him of stealing?

But Su Chen was right—no one had actually seen him take the watch. So how could they be so sure it was him?

For the first time, Su Zhenxing hesitated. He turned to Su Qiqi with a serious expression.

“Qiqi, you were the first to say Su Chen stole my watch,” he said coldly.

“Did you actually see it happen, or were you just assuming?”

Su Qiqi was stunned.

She had just been shaken like a rag doll, and now, instead of scolding Su Chen, their father was questioning her?!

Instantly, tears welled up in her eyes.

“Dad, do I even need to see it?!” she whined.

“In this family, who else would steal besides Su Chen?”

“He grew up in an orphanage! Of course, he has a habit of stealing!”

“And your watch is worth five million! He’s never seen anything that expensive before—of course he stole it!”

Su Zhenxing’s expression darkened.

“So… you didn’t actually see him steal it?”

“You accused him based on nothing but a guess?”

Su Qiqi was confused.

In the past, their father would have already beaten Su Chen for this. But today, something was different.

Why was he hesitating?

Why was he even listening to Su Chen’s nonsense?

Feeling wronged and indignant, Su Qiqi pouted and snapped:

“So what if I didn’t see it?!”

“Even without proof, I know it was him!”

“It was Su Chen! He stole the watch!”

Perfect.

This was the moment Su Chen had been waiting for.

Su Qiqi had just admitted that she had no proof.

Now was the time to flip the script—to finally rid himself of the “thief” label once and for all.

Hearing her words, Su Chen jumped up again, pointing at her as he shouted:

“Su Qiqi, you just admitted it!”

“You have no proof, yet you still accused me!”

“You’re a liar! You framed me!”

“Ahhhhhhh!”

With another furious roar, he lunged toward her again.

The Su family panicked, rushing forward to hold him back.

Su Chen struggled fiercely, kicking and punching as he fought against their grip. His blows landed on everyone—his father, his mother, his siblings.

They gritted their teeth, enduring the pain, sweat dripping from their faces.

Did Su Chen really go insane from being wrongfully accused?!

Was he seriously this unhinged?!

Meanwhile, Su Qiqi, terrified beyond words, scrambled into the bathroom and locked the door.
